Heirloom

Terms

Last updated June 26, 2026. Maintained by the Heirloom team.

Using Heirloom

Heirloom is a maintenance journal for things you own. By signing up, you agree to these terms. If you don't, please don't use the service.

Your account

  • You must be old enough to enter a binding agreement in your country (13+ minimum).
  • Keep your password private. You're responsible for activity on your account.
  • One person per account. Don't share credentials.

Your content

Anything you upload — item details, photos, manuals, receipts, service notes — stays yours. You grant Heirloom the limited right to store and process it to operate the service for you. We don't claim ownership and we don't sell it.

Acceptable use

  • Don't upload anything illegal, infringing, or harmful.
  • Don't try to break, probe, or overwhelm the service.
  • Don't use it to harass anyone or to send unsolicited mail.

Reminders & AI features

Heirloom estimates service schedules and sends reminders based on what you and the AI tools enter. These are best-effort hints — not a replacement for the manufacturer's recommendations or a qualified technician. We're not liable for missed services, lost warranties, or damages stemming from reliance on the app.

Email

We send email related to your account (sign-up confirmation, password reset, notifications you turned on). Manage notification preferences on Settings or click unsubscribe on any non-essential email.

Termination

Delete your account any time from Settings → Danger zone. We may suspend or end accounts that violate these terms. If your account is terminated, your data is deleted on the schedule described in the Privacy page.

Disclaimers

Heirloom is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do our best to keep it running, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted, error-free service.

Limit of liability

To the maximum extent allowed by law, Heirloom is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the prior 12 months (which today is zero — the app is free).

Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes get notice by email. Continued use after a change means you accept the update.
